SPC Gyuto

A study in what happens when the maker applies nearly all acquired techniques and intuition in one exercise. "Can forge" style housemade steel consisting of mainly 1084 and 15n20 high carbon (with a little bit of 1090 and 52100), all mashed up into a brilliant amalgamation of refined metallurgy. 190mm with some forge texture left after the decarburization process, fit up onto an iconic Pellegrino faceted handle style of desert ironwood (minimally altered to showcase the naturally imperfect beauty of the wood). Its wabi sabi, but classy AF. Handcrafted in PA.
