Starting with a proprietary house steel, laminated in the suminagashi style, ya got W2 high carbon as the ultra-performing edge core; clad with carbon and stainless, creating a gorgeous drip/drop pattern. The profile is nice and tall at the heel, and broad toward the tip with a bit of a belly along the edge, making it a true fit for all cutting motions. The handle is an iconic Pellegrino faceted and tactile oriented hand-pleaser of charismatic beefwood with an inner frame inlay of black G10. This gem was handcrafted in Philadelphia, PA.
