Founded in 1929 in Fukuoka, Japan, Masuda Kiribako Co. is well known for their handcrafted gift boxes and containers made from Kiri wood (also known as Paulownia wood). This traditional technique of crafting wood boxes without the use of hardware is an art form dating back to the Heian era. Each container is stackable and features a magnetized wooden measuring cup which couples with the lid for ease of locating inside the container. Can be used to stored rice, coffee beans, nuts, cooking ingredients, dried foods, etc. Version One has an approximate storage capacity of 1kg (2.2lbs). Hand wash only. 8.5" x 8.5" x 3.5"
