The only acceptable material for honing your knives between in-depth sharpening (the steel ones that come along with commodity knife sets are generally pretty awful, and most individuals do not need a diamond steel, etc.), and this one comes from the 5th generation Spanish powerhouse, Pallarès, so you know it's tried and true! Ceramic measures 25cm and the overall length (including polymer handle and hanging ring), is 40cm. Handcrafted in Spain.
