The ceramic toban is an innovative way to prepare seared meats and vegetables. Made from Japan's mineral rich clay deposits, this earthenware is extremely strong and resistant to heat. Providing high-temperature dry heat, this "grilling" plate allows you to achieve that perfect maillard on steak or fish, plus it's great as its own plate and serving vessel, even without accessing the "cookware" feature. ø7.5". Must be used on open flame units only; hand wash.
