Steel Comal
$60
A comal is a smooth, flat griddle typically used in Mexico, Central America, and parts of South America to cook tortillas and arepas, toast spices and nuts, sear meat, and generally prepare food. This hand-spun version is made of carbon steel, features a triangular "hook" at the top to hold while in use, or hang when not. Hand-wash only, and season/ condition the same way as other carbon steel or cast iron cookware. Suitable for all cooking surfaces and methods, excluding microwave. ø11.8" (cooking surface ø10.2"). As this is a handmade product using traditional methods, some finishes around the exterior outer rim may be "imperfect", but do not affect the function or performance. Hecho en México.
