Alentejo Olive Oil DOP
Cold-pressed in small batches from hand-selected olives, this velvety oil with stone fruit aromatics from the Alentejo region retains its rich ripeness and many of the nutrients possessed within the actual olive fruit. Due to its relatively low smoke point, we do not recommend cooking with this olive oil, but rather, enjoying its qualities minimally altered. Perfect on greens with a little accompanying acid, with a freshly baked bread, or a light drizzle atop a fresh pasta. This is the same olive oil that José Gourmet uses in many of their conservas preparations. 250g (approximately 8.5 fl oz).
