A fantastic Dutch-oven-styled casserole, inspired by ancient Chinese Ding bronzeware. Fully enameled interior, including the underside of the lid, make it super manageable and less fussy than "raw" iron, while retaining all the benefits of cooking with cast iron. The three piece unit includes the cooking basin, tight fitting lid and an elevated, removable base for serving directly at the table. Base has silicone bumpers on the feet to alleviate scratching of surfaces. Hand wash only, dry thoroughly in oven after use to prevent rust on exterior. Not suitable for microwave use. ø8 x 5.75" (7.75" set atop base). Holds approximately 2.5 quarts.
